The DILIB project is an opportunity for graphics and media programmers to come together and create
a free graphics library to be used by the rest of the Internet programming community.
DILIB is an open source project, which means the source code to the library is free to be modified
and improved by anyone who wishes to do so. The popularity and the qualityof the Linux operating system are
proof of how making the source available allows software to be debugged and improved rapidly. By making DILIB an open source project, I hope
to encourage innovation and the desire to make software of the highest quality.
I founded DILIB because I truly believe open source is a great way for students to learn new programming techniques and languages, and
for programmers to sharpen their skills.
See you soon!
